Big Brother 12

This summer I have been obsessed with Big Brother 12. This is my first season I have watched of the show and I really don't understand why I didn't watch before. This season I watched because I had heard of Ragan Fox through his podcast. When I heard Ragan was on the show, I knew I would be watching. The thing I didn't expect was to find out he wasn't the reason I continued to watch.

My alliance changed in the first week to a girl named Rachel. She is a red head with hair extensions from Los Vegas who is not afraid to say what is on her mind. I first thought she would go home after week one, but then I realized that she had staying power. On top of that, she started a "showmance" with Brendon and they began to dominate the competition. She won two head-of-household (HOH) competitions and Brendon won one HOH as well as three power-of-veto (POV) competitions. When she won her second HOH, I cheered at my television. I actually screamed because I was so happy. It was the first time I had ever been that tied up in a television show before.

I was sad to see on day 41 that Rachel was evicted from Big Brother and her partner was evicted on day 55. The shock was that I almost quit watching. I still knew that Ragan was in the house, but I didn't care. My contestant for the year was gone. She had a crazy laugh and wore outrageous outfits. People hated her on Twitter and weren't afraid to say so, but I can't help but say I enjoyed my time watching her in the Big Brother house.

"The Move"

This week we had "The Move" at work. We had been told weeks before that our department would be moving areas. This meant a new desk and new seating arrangement. Since it was announced, we have been talking about it only as "The Move." I was nervous about such a big change, but nothing compared to some of my co-workers. We finally made the move last week, which wasn't all bad. I don't sit by people that I normally associate with, but that could be a good thing. I also don't get to talk with my Big Brother friends. Our lunch and breaks may also be affected in the coming weeks.

Before "The Move" I noticed that our department had been split. It was funny that a couple of the more "difficult" people had been moved into their own separate area. I've now come to call them the "have-not's" in honor of Big Brother.
